118 Systematic Investor Episode ft Mark Rzepczynski – December 13th, 2020
Special guest Mark Rzepczynski returns to the show today to discuss how Trend Following strategies performed during this very unusual year, the likeliest safe-haven assets of 2021, whether or not 2020 should be a year that brings about new adjustments to your trading systems, how being nimble can increase robustness, Trend Following as a ‘store of value’, whether the context of financial & world news should be important to systematic trading, the disconnect between financial assets & the real-world economy, and we also attempt to explain the returns dispersion found among similar strategies this year.

117 The Systematic Investor Series – December 7th, 2020
Today, we discuss why a random calendar year is not a good measure of performance, recent increased volatility in alternative markets, how to define an ‘alternative’ market, the strong case for a mixed portfolio of stocks & Trend Following strategies, how to perform the easy-money Bitcoin trade, the benefits of using and investing in Bitcoin, trading the Chinese futures markets, and why a Trend Following system would have entered you into a Tesla position without the need for any predictions.

Customer Reviews
One of the best podcasts for traders
I have been designing and implementing trading systems since 2016 and adding podcasts to my research agenda since. Top Traders Unplugged is one of the best podcasts available for the dedicated quant, if not the best one. Thank you Niels, Moritz, Jerry and team.
My favourite trading podcast
This podcast combines a tremendous amount of wisdom and trading experience from 3 of the industry's most knowledgeable and professional traders.
In addition, they interview top-notch guests, who delve into practical trading questions.
Unlike so many other podcasts that are filled with hype and unrealistic expectations, this podcast offers a candid look into the real world of systematic, rules based investing.

Great Resource
As a novice systematic trader, I find this podcast to be very insightful and motivating. The content has been helping me to create my own systematic trading program. Their willingness to take questions and have the hosts discuss the questions on air and provide answers is also greatly appreciated.
