    Brandon King

On Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 1 p.m. U.S. Pacific Time, watch the U.S. Transhumanist Party’s conversation with Brandon King, who is running as a candidate for the Minnesota State House – District 20A and seeking the Transhumanist Party’s endorsement in a future vote. This Salon offers the opportunity for USTP members and the general public to become acquainted with Mr. King and his campaign, based on making Space and Time available to all through proposals such as the Minnesota Housing Sovereignty Act and the Minnesota Workweek Liberation Act. The conversation between Brandon King and U.S. Transhumanist Party Officers – Chairman Gennady Stolyarov II, Art Ramon Garcia, Jr. (Director of Visual Art), Allen Crowley of the Texas Transhumanist Party, and Daniel Twedt (Director of Community and Citizen Science) was recorded on December 12, 2025, and delves into ideas such as Sovereign Homes – 3D-printed at low cost and offered to the public at reasonable monthly rates with the option to own them free and clear after 15 years; paying for a Universal Basic Income through a national program of asteroid mining; ways to find meaning and self-actualization in a society where employment becomes transformed through automation and working hours are reduced; the Enlightenment and its opposite, the Endarkenment; whether socialism and capitalism are meaningful terms in the 21st century and Brandon King’s concept of Enlightenment Socialism – based more on 18th-century and 19th-century conceptions of socialism rather than on 20th-century authoritarian models; and what he characterizes as a non-mystical view of the Singularity – including various scenarios of promise or peril, where human choices will determine which scenarios get realized. Visit Brandon King’s campaign website at https://www.brandonking4mn20a.com/ Brandon King has spent time as an activist in the transhumanist and longevity communities. He served as the second Chairman in the history of the United States Longevity Party, which was subsequently memorialized in the Statements of Historical Fact within the U.S. Transhumanist Party Constitution (Article I, Section II, Historical Fact 6) – https://transhumanist-party.org/constitution/#HistoricalFact – as Brandon King’s historical contributions were recognized when the U.S. Longevity Party merged with the U.S. Transhumanist Party in 2020.

    Ariel Feinerman

What are the major obstacles that prevent effective anti-aging therapies from being developed? On Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 1 p.m. U.S. Pacific Time, the U.S. Transhumanist Party presents its conversation with Ariel VA Feinerman (recorded on May 10, 2025) on the problems standing in the way of regenerative medicine aimed at reversing human aging. Ariel outlined the damage-repair approach to achieving rejuvenation, based on the insights of Dr. Aubrey de Grey and his Strategies for Engineered Negligible Senescence (SENS). Furthermore, Ariel analyzed in detail why funding from governmental sources and private investors is still largely misdirected, while such funding sources largely ignore truly promising damage-repair research and therapies that are currently capable of being tested and deployed. Ariel also explained the regulatory obstacles to the arrival of rejuvenation treatments, particularly the lengthy and outdated review processes of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, which are poorly suited to the emerging paradigm for regenerative therapies. In the course of his presentation, Ariel VA Feinerman received and answered questions from the USTP panel, including Chairman Gennady Stolyarov II, Allen Crowley of the Texas Transhumanist Party, Art Ramon Garcia, Jr. (Director of Visual Art), and Jason Geringer (Legislative Director). Ariel VA Feinerman is a research scientist, author, photographer, and longevity advocate who considers it his foremost goal "to improve human health and life, and achieve biological immortality in our lifetime." He describes himself as "interested in nanomedicine, bioengineering, biomedical engineering." He has educational and professional backgrounds in rejuvenation biotechnology, physics, programming, and entomology. In 2020, he co-founded the biotechnological company IntraClear Biologics OÜ, in Tallinn, Estonia, and became its Chief Science Officer. Robin Hanson - Civilizational Goals to Prevent Decline

On Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 1 p.m. U.S. Pacific Time, the U.S. Transhumanist Party invites Robin Hanson to continue the discussion on cultural drift and how civilizational decline can be prevented by positing grand unifying goals that a society can unite around. The discussion will address the feasibility of a unifying goal such as radical life extension, which could be framed in objectively measurable ways, with specific incremental goalposts. It will also delve into the challenge of how to get from the current highly turbulent and polarized political and cultural situation to one in which large segments of society embrace the grand goal and work toward it. In addition, the discussion will aim to address various viewer questions and observations from the previous Virtual Enlightenment Salon with Robin Hanson of August 25, 2024: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=po99ApM8T7s  Robin Hanson is an Associate Professor of Economics at George Mason University, and received his Ph.D in 1997 in social sciences from Caltech.
