Not Everyone Is Coming With You

Not everyone can come with you. And that’s fine. Some people drift, some people surprise you, and some people you thought would be ride-or-die quietly… aren’t. Life chapters do that. Recovery did it. Pregnancy did it. Motherhood is doing it right now. Some friends pull back because watching you get better—or just survive—is harder than you think. Some are exhausted, or busy, or confused. And some, the ones who have been there already, appear out of nowhere like, “I got you, here’s what you need,” and it’s magic. Pregnancy and babyhood do the same thing. Plans get cancelled. Availability shrinks. Your world gets tiny. And the friends who get it get it instantly. The ones who don’t… well, they’re still nice people, just… elsewhere. This episode is about letting friendships shift without turning anyone into a villain. About realizing some relationships pause, some change shape, and some just stick. And maybe giving everyone—including yourself—a little grace while that happens. If your friend group looks different than it used to and you’re trying to figure out whether to mourn it, shrug, or send passive-aggressive texts… this one’s for you. -- Social Media Instagram / uncoverypod Twitter / X / uncoverypod Facebook / uncoverypod Find the podcast at Apple podcast https://apple.co/3reFgc5 Spotify https://spoti.fi/32JnbsF Soundcloud / uncoverypod Google Podcast https://shorturl.at/lnQX5 Website https://uncoverypod.com
