This casual chat is all about getting to know your hosts, Jacinta & Claire, and Junior Producer, Pax, and the vision behind the podcast. We’re here to explore discernment in a fun, relatable way, and we’re thrilled to have you with us! You’ll hear us share our personal stories, our likes and dislikes (spoiler: Claire isn’t a fan of cheese or leggings), and what led us to create Unveiled. It’s all about connection and community as we dive into the lives of inspiring women who have walked the path of discernment. Our initial idea was to host a nun run to learn more about discernment and religious life on the way to celebrating the vows of Sr. Maryam Josephine of the Child Jesus from the Queenship of Mary. We soon realized that a podcast would allow us to expand our goal and reach so many more people! We want to explore the different religious orders, what makes each one unique, and how they contribute to the world. We’ll be asking all the burning questions, like how to find the right order and what it’s like to live a life of service. Hopefully, we can foster a fun community and spark curiosity about the world of religious life and discernment. As we wrap up this intro, we’re looking ahead at the incredible conversations we’ll be having in future episodes.
