Soooo good. Hooked instantly
This was an incredibly compelling and heart breaking case. I found myself tearing up several times.
I listened to the first episode entirely before realizing this was a single case podcast. After it ended I was panicking! Like, “there HAS to be more to this story than just that??”. I was super relieved to learn that it’s a multiple part case.

Terrible audio
The sound varies from almost inaudible (victims, police) to incredibly loud (host, music)…ugh.
The host is straight-up tabloid in her reporting without much sensitivity or reflective insight into this very compelling tragedy.
Unfortunate soundtrack but great audio
I’ve heard this story glossed over but am enjoying the depth of material, especially interrogation tapes. The over dramatization of audio is real unnecessary and screams old school sensationalist journalism. However, overall it’s a compelling story and well researched.
