Keenan Ribeiri ,

Great and engaging story

This story is very well written and produced, I loved it from start to finish. I love how seamlessly and slowly you’re eased into the massive amounts of world building that exists for the sole purpose of fleshing out this specific story about Nolira. It feels like there’s an entire universe out there, and then the story ends and you realize that all of these things that you understood as reality within this story are completely fictional and only exist in service of this story. It accomplishes this far better and with much greater depth than similar stories, such as Fathom/Derelict. The acting, effects, and plot were all perfect to me as well. I was so immersed that I didn’t even care about the fact that 1/4 of all of the characters were voice acted by The White Vault cast, if anything I found it entertaining.

I would love for more to be done with this vast (pun intended) universe that Fool and Scholar clearly put a lot of effort and love into. However, I understand within the time of this story, Nolira is the biggest deal and most important character within the universe. Maybe it could be done with the precursors that created Ally, some events during the war, or some events that happen long after Vast Horizons. If they can pull off Goshawk and Echoes (and by god have they), it can’t be too hard to give this wonderful IP the same treatment.

My only nitpick with this show is that I really didn’t like the real life advertisements that were worked into the story of the show. Even though it was done in service of maintaining immersion, it just broke the immersion to me more than fading out a scene and playing an ad would have. The first time it happened I got really confused and I thought it was supposed to be part of the world building, only realizing they were real ads when they started advertising ExpressVPN.

Amazing

It’s a sweet story! Love the actors! Love the progressive original storyline! I look forward for the new episodes every month. It just keeps getting better and better! Well done!

Oshima_San ,

Great story!

Loved the story and enjoyed listening. 3 Stars because of the ads during the story disguised as “recordings”. This was sneaky and offensive. I get you have a paid ad free version but these ads did nothing but damage the integrity of your show and made me lose immersion. Whoever made this decision lost the plot.
