The best podcast

This is my favourite podcast to listen to each week. Tawny and Andrew have great chemistry and answer questions with a great balance of humour, good advice and bluntness.

Time to Listen, Learn, and Take Action

The guests are genuinely amazing - so much collective and personal experience being shared for you. If you are a person of colour, representation matters and they work their asses off to bring diverse perspectives. If you a white person, listen, learn, take action (become one of the good ones).

The intuitive/casual interview style leads to profound dicoveries. Andrew says, "I don't know..." a lot. It leaves space for guests to reflect and either support or challenge. This provokes thoughful dialogue and meaningful exploration.

It is playful, while not ignoring the gravity of underlying messages. Tawney's dryness and techniques for calling people out and letting them hang themselves is righteous.

This podcast isn't for everyone. You've got to get through some heavy stuff. It is worth it.

First time listening.

Thank you. I’m a white woman (named Karen, unfortunately) making an effort to learn. What I learned from listening: how I can support better (rating, commenting and sharing podcasts like yours). Also, a family member is planning on attending a local podcast. I am going to have her listen to this to sure she is protesting in solidarity, she is not entitled to any rage, and that we can support on the periphery. Oh also, the question at the end that Tawny asks us to ask ourselves “Given who I am, what can I do?” That REALLY landed with me.
Thank you.
