The original serie, YOB, was good. There were some lengthy parts in several episodes and a certain lack of structure, but I found that Chirs Lambert did an excellent work of investigation on the case. People vs Flores, howerer, is unlistenable. It seems like Chris became so obsessed with the case (and probably his rise in popularity) that he forgot that a journalist’s job also involve summarizing the events (i.e the trial events) in a way that conveys the relevant information to the public. Instead, Chris monotonously reads to us every motion, every statement, every time a juror sneezes, endlessly. The fact that the ‘Conclusion’ of the series is 6 hours long over 4 episodes says everything you need to know about People vs Flores.
