    Nathan Wheeler

This week on the Accessible Hunter Podcast, we’re honored to welcome Nathan Wheeler from Ohio. Nathan’s life changed forever in 2023 when a tree stand collapsed while he was deer hunting, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. In this episode, Nathan opens up about what life looked like before his injury, the hardest adjustments afterward, and how the Killbuck, Ohio community rallied around him and his family when they needed it most. We talk about:    •   Finding purpose and possibility after a life-altering injury    •   What the outdoors looks like now—and why it still matters    •   Common misconceptions about living with a disability    •   The importance of adaptive gear, accessibility, and accommodations    •   Advice for someone newly injured and trying to figure out what’s next    •   What gives Nathan hope as he looks toward the future Nathan will also be attending the Whitetail Heritage of Ohio banquet on March 7, and his story is one you don’t want to miss. This is a powerful conversation about resilience, community, and redefining what’s possible after injury. #AccessibleHunter #AccessibleHunterPodcast #ALSOutdoorz #BeAdaptiveEquipment #BicknellBunchOutdoors #CampFreedom #HopeOutdoors #HunterSafety #HuntersSharingTheHarvest #MrHeater #NevinsHuntingFriends #PerserveranceOutdoors #RedefiningOutdoorAbilityWorldwide #ROAROUTDOORS #RupertsRoostInPeaceTurkeyCalls #SpartanWheelChariots #TheOutdoorCallRadio #TraplineBeardOil #VaWheelinSportsmen #WhitetailHeritageOfOhio #WJVA
