CPP: Sarah Frances Hardy

Chase Parham sits down with writer, author, and illustrator Sarah Frances Hardy. A creative dynamo, Hardy is the illustrator for One Mississippi, the acclaimed children's book using lyrics from the state song written and performed by Steve Azar. Hardy has many other projects across different creative areas including an upcoming art show called Domestic Wildness that will be hanging at the Pearl River Glass Studio Gallery in Jackson through the month of September. The opening reception will be on Thursday, September 3 from 5-7 p.m. One Mississippi was chosen by the Mississippi Library Commission as the 2026 Children’s Book selection for Great Reads from Great Places. The book will be featured by the Library Commission at the National Book Festival in Washington, D.C., as well as the Mississippi Book Festival. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
