WISCONSIN DAD OF 3 DEAD IN LAKE, MISSING SNUGGED UP WITH UZBEKISTAN LOVER?

The morning of August 12, Ryan Borgwardt's wife calls authorities, her husband never came home from kayaking on Green Lake last night and isn't answering his phone. Green Lake County Sheriff's office gets involved and with Borgwardt's last known location being Green lake, deputies  begin searching the area around 5:32pm and locate Borgwardt's vehicle and trailer parked in the area of Dodge Memorial Park.  About an hour after deputies respond to a missing persons call at Green Lake, authorities find a capsized kayak in the western part of the lake. It is this part of the lake where the water is around 220 feet deep.  Deputies find the life jacket still attached to the kayak. Volunteers join deputies in the search for Ryan Borgwardt.  24-hours into the search for Ryan Borgwardt search crews use a drone and send boats out to complete a grid search of the lake.  As the search efforts continue, Sheriff Mark Podoll says they are searching the deepest waters of the lake, searching hundreds of acres across Green lake with help from Bruce's Legacy, a nonprofit that assists in search and recovery efforts. The sheriff says now they are looking for a body, believing that Ryan Borgwardt drowned in the lake.  Three cadaver dogs, and a dive team are brought in to help in the recovery efforts.       Sheriff Mark Podoll and his team takes the search for Ryan Borgwardt into a different direction starting back at the begining, and right away they find out that Ryan Borgwardt's name was run on August 13 by Canadian Law enforcement. Early in the search, Borgwardt's passport was found at his home, but now investigators learn that Ryan Borgwardt was issued another passport on May 22nd after reporting his other passport as lost.   Borgwardt's wife, Emily, provides investigators with her husband's laptop computer.  Conducting a digital forensic analysis of the laptop and information retrieved leads investigators to believe that Ryan Borgwardt is somewhere in Europe. Sheriff Mark Podoll says Borgwardt replaced the hard drive in the laptop and cleared all the browser history the day he went missing.   Investigators find that Ryan Borgwardt moved funds to a foreign bank and changed his email address and was communicating with a woman from Uzbekistan before he vanished.  The investigation also reveals that Borgwardt took out a $375,000 life insurance policy seven months before he vanished and purchased airline cards as well. Sheriff Mark Podoll says after everything they have uncovered; they know that Ryan Borgwardt is quote "Not in our lake".  Joining Nancy Grace today:  Gregory Morse - Partner at the law firm of King Morse, PLLC. MICA MILLER PASTOR HUSBAND ARRESTED: GRIM MUG SHOT

Police arrested Pastor John-Paul Miller on assault charges unrelated to his wife’s suicide. Protesters seeking “Justice for Mica” have been stationed outside Miller’s Solid Rock Church for weeks, and their heckling has apparently affected Miller. When a woman among the protesters called out, “Here, kitty, kitty...” as Miller walked by, Miller allegedly approached her, leaned close, and slapped her baseball cap twice before walking away. Miller now faces third-degree assault and battery charges. Miller’s attorney, Russel Long, called the arrest “outrageous” and claimed that the women recording Miller make taunting comments to bait and provoke him. Long argued that the city of Myrtle Beach has failed to protect Miller and Solid Rock Church by allowing “protesters” to stalk and harass Miller and his congregants, effectively “killing the church.” He expressed concern that Miller’s arrest will only give protesters more motivation and momentum. GUILTY ALL COUNTS: RICHARD ALLEN STONE-FACED AS DELPHI JURY SAYS HE MURDERED ABBY & LIBBY, LEFT BODIES IN WOODS

The jury took two minutes from entering the courtroom to announce the verdict: Richard Allen, guilty on all charges. Allen was convicted of felony murder for Abby Williams and Libby German, as well as for knowingly and intentionally killing both girls. Judge Gull maintained order in the courtroom, where there were no outbursts, but outside on the streets of Delphi, shouts of "Guilty on all charges" echoed. As Kathy Allen, Richard Allen's wife, left the courthouse, she was heard saying, "This isn't over at all." The jury, composed of seven women and five men, heard 17 days of testimony, including dozens of witnesses, disturbing jailhouse videos of Richard Allen, and photos of Abby and Libby as they were found at the crime scene. They deliberated for 19 hours over parts of four days to reach a unanimous verdict. HORROR HOTEL: "WE TASTED BLOOD IN WATER" AT CECIL HOTEL, ELISA'S BODY IN WATER TANK

Elisa Lam embarks on a solo trip to California. Despite her parents' protests, she reassures them with a promise to check in daily by phone. She posts on her Tumblr blog, "I have arrived in LaLa Land." She checks into the Cecil Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, planning to stay in her shared hostel-style suite for four days and three nights. Elisa is scheduled to check out of the Cecil Hotel on January 31, but she never does. Her parents grow concerned when Elisa misses her promised daily check-ins. They contact the LAPD, and a search begins for the young university student. Dogs search her room and the hotel rooftop, but there is no sign of Elisa. Two weeks pass with no trace of Elisa Lam. The LAPD releases the last known video footage of her, hoping it will provide new leads. The video shows Elisa pressing multiple elevator buttons, gesturing to someone off-camera, and repeatedly peering down the hallway before retreating into a corner of the elevator. Nineteen days after Elisa Lam’s disappearance, law enforcement still has not found her. Meanwhile, guests at the Cecil Hotel report low water pressure and an unusual, dark taste in the water, which has taken on a muddy, blackish color. A maintenance worker checks the rooftop water tanks and finds one of the four 1,000-gallon tanks open, with Elisa’s body floating face-up inside.  Joining Nancy Grace today:  Kelly Hyman – Trial & Civil Attorney (Miami, FL); TV Legal Analyst; Author: “Build Back Better;” X: @kellyhyman1, TikTok: @kelly.hyman, Instagram: @Kelly_Hyman1  Matthew Mangino – Attorney, Former District Attorney (Lawrence County); Author: “The Executioner’s Toll: The Crimes, Arrests, Trials, Appeals, Last Meals, Final Words and Executions of 46 Persons in the United States;” X: @MatthewTMangino  Caryn L.
