Её зовут Валентина Ивановна. Ей шестьдесят восемь лет. Она не работает. Она получает пенсию. Она живёт одна, но ей помогают соседи и друзья. My grandmother is a pensioner. Her name is Valentina Ivanovna. She is sixty-eight years old. She doesn’t work. She gets a pension. She lives alone, but her neighbors and friends help her. 🔵 Монолог 2 Мой дедушка раньше работал врачом. Сейчас он на пенсии. Он получает пенсию каждый месяц. Он говорит, что раньше пенсия была меньше. Сейчас он живёт спокойно, читает и слушает музыку. My grandfather used to work as a doctor. Now he’s retired. He gets a pension every month. He says pensions used to be lower. Now he lives calmly, reads, and listens to music. 🔵 Монолог 3 В нашей стране есть социальная помощь. Пенсионеры получают деньги от государства. Некоторые пожилые люди работают, потому что пенсия маленькая. Им нужна поддержка. In our country there is social support. Pensioners get money from the state. Some elderly people work because their pension is small. They need support. 🔵 Монолог 4 У нас в доме живёт пожилая женщина. Она одна. Мы помогаем ей: приносим продукты, лекарства. У неё есть пенсия, но она маленькая. Ей трудно. Но она очень добрая и всегда улыбается. There’s an elderly woman living in our building. She’s alone. We help her: bring groceries and medicine. She has a pension, but it’s small. It’s hard for her. But she is very kind and always smiles. 🔵 Монолог 5 Я думаю, что социальная защита — это важно. Люди должны получать помощь, если они не работают или уже старые. Пенсия нужна всем: и врачам, и учителям, и рабочим. I think social protection is important. I want to work in a shop or café. 🔵 Монолог 2 Мой друг закончил университет, но пока не работает. Он ищет работу по специальности. Он инженер. Он говорит, что сейчас сложно найти хорошую работу без опыта. My friend graduated from university, but he’s not working yet. He’s looking for a job in his field. He’s an engineer. He says it’s hard to find a good job without experience. 🔵 Монолог 3 Я приехал в Москву и ищу работу. Я плохо говорю по-русски, и это проблема. Я хочу работать официантом или курьером. Я уже был на двух интервью. I came to Moscow and I’m looking for a job. I speak Russian poorly, and that’s a problem. I want to work as a waiter or courier. Она говорит, что хочет найти стабильную работу с хорошей зарплатой. My sister worked in an office, but the company closed. Now she is unemployed. She goes to interviews. Это не просто, но я стараюсь. Я верю, что найду работу. I study Russian because I want to work as a translator. Now I read ads and look for an internship. It’s not easy, but I try. У меня нормальная зарплата. Я получаю её один раз в месяц. В субботу и воскресенье — выходной. Летом я беру отпуск и еду к морю. I work at a bank. I have a normal salary. I get paid once a month. Saturday and Sunday are my days off. In summer I take a vacation and go to the sea. 🔵 Монолог 2 Моя подруга работает в магазине. У неё маленькая зарплата, но она любит свою работу. У неё два выходных — понедельник и вторник. В августе она едет в отпуск на дачу. My friend works in a shop. She has a small salary, but she loves her job. She has two days off — Monday and Tuesday. In August she goes on vacation to the dacha. 🔵 Монолог 3 Я студент, но иногда работаю. Я получаю деньги за проект. Это не зарплата, а подработка. В выходные я отдыхаю или хожу на занятия. Летом я хочу поехать в отпуск с друзьями. I’m a student, but sometimes I work. I get paid per project. It’s not a salary, it’s part-time work. On weekends I rest or attend classes. In summer I want to go on vacation with friends. 🔵 Монолог 4 Мой брат работает инженером. У него хорошая зарплата. Он работает пять дней в неделю. В выходные он отдыхает с семьёй. В отпуск он ездит за границу — во Францию или в Италию. My brother works as an engineer. He has a good salary. He works five days a week. On weekends he rests with his family. Мой рабочий день начинается в девять утра. Я работаю за компьютером. В обед у нас перерыв. Мы ходим в кафе. В шесть часов я заканчиваю работу и еду домой. I work in an office. My working day starts at nine in the morning. I work at the computer. At lunch we have a break. We go to a café. At six I finish work and go home. 🔵 Монолог 2 Я учитель. У меня уроки утром и днём. Я начинаю в восемь и заканчиваю в два. Вечером я проверяю тетради и готовлюсь к следующему дню. Иногда я очень устаю, но работа интересная. I am a teacher. I have lessons in the morning and afternoon. I start at eight and finish at two. In the evening, I check notebooks and prepare for the next day. Sometimes I get very tired, but the job is interesting. 🔵 Монолог 3 Мой друг повар. Он работает шесть дней в неделю. Его день начинается в семь утра. Он готовит, пробует блюда и работает с продуктами. Рабочий день заканчивается вечером, когда ресторан закрывается. My friend is a cook. He works six days a week. His day starts at seven in the morning. He cooks food and works with ingredients. The workday ends in the evening when the restaurant closes. 🔵 Монолог 4 Я студент. У меня уроки с понедельника по пятницу. Обычно мы начинаем в девять. У нас есть перемены и обед. В пятницу учёба заканчивается рано. В выходные я отдыхаю и делаю домашнее задание. I’m a student. I have classes from Monday to Friday. Usually we start at nine. We have breaks and lunch. On Friday classes finish early. On the weekend I rest and do my homework. 🔵 Монолог 5 Моя мама работает в больнице. У неё тяжёлая неделя. Иногда она работает ночью. Утром она идёт на работу, а вечером приходит очень уставшая. В субботу и воскресенье она отдыхает и слушает музыку. My mom works in a hospital. She has a hard week. Sometimes she works at night. Я люблю математику и физику. Моя мама работает на заводе. Она сказала, что инженер — это хорошая профессия. Я согласен. I study at university. My major is engineering. I like math and physics. Переводчики работают в разных странах. Это интересно! I want to be a translator. I study Russian and English. I like talking with people. Translators work in different countries. My friend studies to be a journalist. She likes writing articles and reading newspapers. She says journalism is for active people. I think it suits her. 🔵 Монолог 5 Мой друг учится в колледже на повара. Он любит готовить. Его бабушка была поваром, и он часто готовил с ней. Сейчас он работает в ресторане и учится вечером. My friend studies at college to be a cook. He loves cooking. His grandmother was a cook, and he often cooked with her. Now he works in a restaurant and studies in the evening. We have holidays in January and in summer. In summer I go home to my parents. We walk, relax, I read books. Sometimes we go to the country house or to the forest. 🔵 Монолог 2 На каникулах я люблю путешествовать. В прошлом году я был в Петербурге. Я ходил в музеи, на экскурсии, фотографировал. Это было интересно! During holidays I like to travel. Last year I was in St. Petersburg. I visited museums, listened to excursions, and took photos. It was interesting! 🔵 Монолог 3 Когда у меня есть свободное время, я слушаю музыку, читаю или смотрю фильмы. Иногда я иду в парк или встречаюсь с друзьями. Мы говорим по-русски и пьем чай. When I have free time, I listen to music, read, or watch films. Sometimes I go to the park or meet with friends. We speak Russian and drink tea. 🔵 Монолог 4 Я люблю каникулы! Можно не вставать рано, отдыхать. Я сплю долго, потом гуляю. Иногда я еду к бабушке. У неё свой сад и много цветов. I love holidays! You don’t have to wake up early, you can relax. Она поступила в прошлом году. Учёба длится три года. Ей нравится колледж. Она изучает туризм. Сейчас у неё практика. My friend studies at a college. She entered last year. The course lasts three years. She likes the college. She studies tourism. Now she has an internship. 🔵 Монолог 3 Я учился в школе десять лет. Потом я поступил в университет. Сейчас я учусь на втором курсе. Через два года я получу диплом и буду работать. I studied at school for ten years. Then I entered university. Now I’m in my second year. In two years I will get a diploma and start working. 🔵 Монолог 4 Мой брат поступил в университет в прошлом сентябре. Он учится на инженера. Учёба будет длиться пять лет. Сейчас он живёт в общежитии и много читает. My brother entered the university last September. He studies to become an engineer. The studies will last five years.
