    The Case of Joseph Duggar

Joseph Duggar is the seventh of nineteenth child born to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. The family became famous on TLC's programs Nineteen Kids and Counting and Counting On. His older brother Josh Duggar was arrested and convicted of charges around child sexual abuse materials. Now, Joseph Duggar is at the center of yet another sexual abuse scandal. He is accused of lewd and lascivious behavior — molestation of a victim less than twelt-years-old and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person eighteen years or older. This stems from a 2020 incident that allegedly occurred in Panama City Beach, in Florida's Bay County involving a then-nine-year-old girl. Duggar has also been hit with multiple counts around child endangerment in Arkansas. His wife Kendra Duggar is also charged with child endangerment in Arkansas. 5News's airing of the clip of Joseph Duggar speaking in a jail phone call: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1VBZh-eQgs 5News's video on the footage of Joseph Duggar getting booked into jail: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/kEZ8ZVUfny4 The Hollywood Reporter's coverage of former Arkansas state trooper Joseph Hutchens' statements on the Duggar family after his conviction on child sexual abuse materials charges: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/general-news/19-kids-counting-state-trooper-798376/ USA Today's coverage of the arrests of Joseph and Kendra Duggar: https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/celebrities/2026/03/20/joseph-duggars-wife-kendra-19-kids-and-counting-arrest/89255598007/ The New York Times's coverage of the arrests of Joseph and Kendra Duggar: https://www.nytimes.com/2026/03/21/us/kendra-joseph-dugger-misdemeanor-arrest.html We access Log Cabin Democrat through Newspapers.com. Anatomy of a Trial: Arbitration: A Conversation with Attorney Norris Cunningham

Today, we're mixing it up on Anatomy of a Trial. We won't be talking about trials at all. We’re going to be talking about arbitration! In civil cases, if you don't go to trial, you might end up in what's called arbitration. It's a different method of dispute resolution. We feel it's something that many of our listeners may actually encounter. Our expert today is attorney Norris Cunningham. Norris Cunningham is an attorney with Stoll Keenon Ogden in Indianapolis. He was a co-founder of the firm Katz Korin Cunningham. He has long focused on legal disputes involving healthcare. He authored a book Inside the Minds: Health Care Law Client Strategies. Most importantly for our conversation today, he is an arbitrator. In fact, he's certified by both the American Arbitration Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.
