    **Sensitive warning - we get into a bit of debate about religions and beliefs during the show, so if you are not comfortable with that topic, you've been warned!**   Hawk and Dove get introduced to us this week, and for many, it's the first time meeting this duo of chaos and order. These superpowered siblings bicker like most brothers, but they have two very different ways of approaching problems. Wonder Woman has to round them up to take on Ares as he is insighting war with his magical armor.  It takes everything in Wonder Woman and Hawk's power to try and stop the Annihilator machine.     Justice League Unlimited - S1E3 - Kids' Stuff

    Unlimited Leaguers we are off to Funseyland but the cost of admission is our adulthood. Magic is in the air with Morgaine and Mordred seeking more power.  But Mordred has plans. He is tired of being under his mother's thumb and stuck being a kid. He casts a spell that transports all people older than him to a magical limbo dimension. Morgaine transforms the League members into kids and sends them out to stop Mordred. Mordred is in Funseyland where he rules the children and has made it his own. The Justice Kids arrive and must adapt to being kids in body and mind with powers. We get to see some fun interactions between Batman & Wonder Woman as she is crushing on him.  The team works together to get the kids out and then try to get the amulet away from Mordred. But he is too powerful. So they trick him to becoming an adult. The spell is broken and the adults return.     Justice League Unlimited - S1E2 - For The Man Who Has Everything

    Hello Unlimited Leaguers! We are flying off to the Fortress of Solitude. I hope we got Superman a good birthday gift. It is hard to compete with Wonder Woman's flower and Batman's money. What do you get the man who has everything? Batman and Wonder Woman are off to help Clark celebrate his birthday. Things do not go as planned. Superman is locked in the grip of the Black Mercy. It is a plant the keeps the captured person in their most fulfilling fantasies.  Kal-el is a farmer on Krypton. His wife, Loana (combo of Lois and Lana), his son Van-El, Krypto, and Brainiac the helper robot make his home complete. Krypton was never destroyed. His father is still a leading scientist. Things are different for Kal-El but his personality, drive, and morals remain the same. But as events in the real-world creep in as earthquakes, Kal-El realizes the fantasy. Batman and Wonder Woman must figure out how to break Clark out. Mongul sent the Black Mercy to stop Superman. With no Superman he wants to take over the Earth. Wonder Woman begins to fight him while Batman tries to break through to Clark. Things are not looking good as only Superman is strong enough to keep Mongul at bay, as we see Wonder Woman getting beat down like we've never seen before! As Batman finally is able to pull the flower off of Supes, he's able to come back to reality just in time, and goes to help fight Mongul. Batman is taken over but breaks free quickly. Wonder Woman puts a stop to the even battle between Superman and Mongul.     Hello Legendary Leaguers Unlimited! After some time off, Flash, Harley, and xforce11 have hopped in the Waverider and answered the call to join the League. We are just some of the heroes who have gathered on the new Watchtower to help save the day. The original founding team have been recruiting new members. The Watchtower has been upgraded and so have the Javelins. We find out from Superman that Martian Manhunter will be picking members and sending the small teams out on missions.  To combat a nuclear robot gone rogue, Manhunter sends Green Lantern, Captain Atom, Supergirl and a very reluctant Green Arrow. They must deal with a hostile military as well as the robot.     TL341 - Peacemaker Season 1 Review

    Do you really want to taste this? Be warned. The show we are covering today is not for young listeners. It will have the explicit label due to swearing and discussion of mature audience content only. Peacemaker. The messed up, rude and crude character from The Suicide Squad film that no one ever thought we would get more of.....BUT, one scene where he showed vulnerablity, was the spark that gave this hero a chance to grow in his own story.... And boy did he ever.     Justice League - S2E24-26 - Starcrossed

    The League are running security for a peace summit when an alien ship shows up in the sky above. Followed soon after by a Thanagarian warship! It seems that Hawkgirl was a double agent sent to Earth to scout things out, where she relayed intel back to Thanigar that Earth's defenses are no match for the Gordanians, a lizard like race apparently hell bent on conquering the universe!  The Thanagar's leader, Hro Talek, offers to help by recommending they build a shield around the Earth. The people and the League work with the Thanagarians in a massive effort to construct the shield generator, but things are not as they seem. Batman discovers the Gordanians were dead long before they came to earth and it turns out that Hawkgirl is betrothed to Hro Talak,  and he is there on a revenge mission. He wants to build a Hyperspace Bypass to get to the Gordanian home world and end the war. The trouble is, that the bypass will destroy Earth in the process. To their surprise, the League is countered with weapons built around their weaknessess, and they are easily defeated and put in a Thanagarian prison. Luckily Wonder Woman uses her wits to trick a guard allowing her to escape and free the others.  They must hide in plain site by dressing as civilians to evade capture again. They work their way to the Batcave to make plans to fight back.  Hawkgirl catches up to them feeling guilty for not knowing what her people were up to, and fills them in on the true plans. They must get to the base ship and shut off the forcefield protecting the generator. Only once it's down, can they take out the generator.   Green Lantern and Hro battle over the controls and Hawkgirl begs Hro to find another way. It's an epic battle with a lot of emotions, and ultimately the generator is taken down.  In a cinematic sequence, Batman decides there's only one way to destroy their base, and that's to pilot the Watchtower on a collision course with the generator. Thankfully Superman saves him before the crash. The Thanagarians are defeated and have no reason to stay, so they leave for home. But all is not back to normal as Hawkgirl's status as a League member is being voted on. Half the team doesn't trust her anymore, and before they can come to a decision, she decides to resign. It's a bitter sweet ending as she bids farewell to John and flies off into the sunset...     Justice League - S2E23 - Comfort and Joy

    Everyone deserves a little cheer and hope during the holidays; even dare I say a little comfort and joy.  In this holiday episode, the Justice Leage save 2 worlds about to collide. But afterwards they decide to enjoy some time off. Flash plays Santa, along with the help of the Ultra-Humanite, for a group of orphans in Central City. Their hearts are set on a DJ Rubber Duckie and Flash and Ultra-Humanite put aside their differences to make their wish come true. Flash even gives Ultra-Humanite a piece of his childhood to enjoy in prison. Green Lantern and Hawkgirl have fun playing in the snow of the ice planet. But Hawkgirl wants to celebrate. They fly out into the galaxy. She has a world where she is well known and celebrates like she does. Her idea of celebration is drinking and fighting. She and Green Lantern celebrate and have a bar fight with the aliens. All is well. Superman takes the lonely Martian Manhunter home to Smallville for Christmas. Clark's love of the holiday is clear and his parents welcome J'onn with open arms.     TL338 - Justice League - S2E21-22 - Wild Cards

    All hands on deck! Does that make sense for this episode? All decks on hand maybe? Either way, it's Vegas time! As the League heads to the Vegas strip to stop the maniacal Joker from wrecking havok all over the city that never sleeps! It's an all out evening of mayhem as Joker has hid 25 bombs around the city, and he challenges the League to find them all in time while he televises the whole event! But it's not that simple, as he also introduces his new team, the Royal Flush Gang, to intercept and delay them from finishing the task. The Royal Flush Gang prove they're more than just a poker hand, as they go toe to toe with our team, and get the "upper hand", yeah I went there, on them! It takes they youngest member of the gang to change her mind about trusting the Joker, as she turns the tables on him, allowing the League to regain control.
