    73. Football Games

    STRIKER! We've got football pie all over our shirts in this episode as, to celebrate the start of the 2026 World Cup, we're nominating liquid football games to go into the Video Game Hall of Fame. We've also got a sweepstakes, where the winner gets to induct a previously-nominated game of their choice, some predictions on the tournament itself and, as mentioned, four absolutely bangin' footie games for you to vote on.     It's time for the category you all voted for: spin-off games! This time we're nominating games that deviate from their existing IP to create something different. There were an insane amount of games to choose from - especially when you consider Mario himself is a spin-off of Donkey Kong!     It's spreadsheet time, lads. Lots of things to do in this episode and, as always, that means lots of new inductees into the Hall of Fame.  Each host gets one free hit - a previous losing pick from episodes 61-69 they can put straight into the HOF.
