    Daily Bread Life

    Daily Bread Life Oh that we would be a people committed to a life of believing God day by day as we feast upon the Lord Jesus. DNA Questions - Exodus 16:12-30; Matthew 6:16-34 Discover What is God's primary purpose for only giving His people enough mana for one day? Why do we need to recognize that everyone was able to gather enough? Why does it honor the Lord when we rest?   Nurture Is it more difficult for you to trust the Lord for yourself or for others? Why is this and how does it impact your life? What aspect of Jesus do you feast on the most and where do you need to pursue more of Him in your life? Why is it important that we would delineate between "today" problems and "tomorrow" problems?   Act What would it look like for you this week to lean into God's promise of daily bread?

    God's Goodness on Saturday

    Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday get a lot of attention in the story of Jesus’ work in saving the world…redeeming a people for His own possession…bringing many sons to glory. However, we can often overlook the day in between. Saturday. They had laid their dead Messiah in a grave, one of their own had betrayed them all, their lives were in danger and the worst part of it all was likely the fact that they were left with so many questions, disappointment, disillusionment , and no path forward. Their hopes and dreams and excitement were buried with the One who had turned water into wine, fed 5,000, healed a man born blind, and brought a dead man back to life. After all that…what were they expected to do?…the same thing that they had been doing for the last 1500 years…nothing. God had commanded them to rest. DNA Questions Discover Do you know the Kingdom of God when you see it? Do you prepare to rest?   Nurture: How is the finished work of Jesus actual Sabbath in your life? What part of the kingdom of this world keeps you from seeking first His Kingdom? What does the resurrection do for your hope when things don't go the way you had planned?   Act: How would your week look different if you hoped for what you could not yet see?

    The story of Joseph continues the lineage of the people of Israel - God’s chosen people. It is clear from beginning to end that God is more faithful to His people than they are to Him. We will see, in the life and times of Joseph, that in God’s sovereign plan nothing is wasted. In the end, our lives, like Joseph’s, will prove our great need for God’s salvation and that his plans and purposes for our lives are good. How does the gospel inform the way we grieve? Act: What is one way you could actively seek to bless those closest to you? Consider something that you have lost or that has changed and what it would mean to process that.

Act As a disciple of Jesus Christ, how can you uniquely be a blessing to those around you?

What grace do you need to extend this week and what grace do you need to receive?
