He shares what it is like to farm grapes in the wilds of Mendocino bear country with zero infrastructure and with environmental conservation in mind. Much like the Under The Wire project itself, Stu’s undertaking on the ridges west of Laytonville has no domestic historic precedent and has been filled with learnings, challenges and, happily, some great successes
