    Hospital Future Talks #1: Unveiling the Story Behind the Future of Hospitals and Health Systems Initiative with Sonia Roschnik

    As of early 2026, the Climate Action Accelerator has officially taken the lead of the secretariat of the Future of Hospitals and Health Systems (FHHS) initiative. FHHS is a platform that brings together global leaders to envision hospitals of the future in the face of climate risks, while improving hospital’s resilience, sustainable practices, and innovation. In this line, FHHS started hosting a new interview format, called "Hospital Future Talks", to share the knowledge and expertise of the partners of the platform and discuss the topics we collaboratively address. This first session of the series features Sonia Roschnik, former Executive Director of the Geneva Sustainability Centre and a founding member of FHHS, and aims to explore the origins, vision and ambitions of the initiative. Whether you are familiarised with the initiative, or if you are discovering it for the first time, this session offers a unique opportunity to dive into the core of FHHS and its mission.     Dans cet épisode, nous avons échangé avec Estelle Gouenard, chef de projet au sein du Climate Action Accelerator. Sa mission : diriger le développement et le lancement du hub de solutions. Estelle souligne comment le hub permet aux organisations d'agir ensemble : il agit comme une plateforme de partage d'expériences, de connaissances et de solutions. Elle décrit également le fonctionnement du hub, le type de contenus disponibles, les experts derrière les solutions proposées… et surtout le rôle des organisations partenaires dans cette initiative visant à rendre les solutions climatiques plus accessibles pour accélérer l’action climatique.

Nous souhaitons :  > Donner les moyens aux organisations de réduire au moins de moitié leurs émissions d'ici 2030, à travers un pôle d'expertise et de ressources. > Les transformer en ambassadeurs du changement au sein de leurs réseaux, capables d'entrainer leurs écosystèmes. > Construire une communauté d'action globale, partageant les solutions pour le climat comme un bien commun universel, pour amplifier leur déploiement.
