1) always keep a straight face and say Ok no matter how doomed the players are or how ludicrous they are 2) no matter what happens act like this is exactly how it is supposed to go 3) if your not sure what to do next then fake illness end the session early and plan your next move If all else fails then roll a bunch of dice behind your screen, study them for a few moments with a look of regret and deep concern, sigh heavily and declare that a young red dragon comes out of stealth and attacks the level 12 party and breathes fire on everyone.
