    July Book Club: The Poet Empress | Episode 174

    Our July Book Club pick was The Poet Empress by Shen Tao, and we're so glad so many of you enjoyed it! Unfortunately, it didn't quite work for us. While we all agreed the writing was beautiful and poetic, the story itself fell flat.
