Missile Crisis - Not history, not even a poor Wikipedia page

Forgot to mention the Jupiter missiles in Turkey on top of the Bay of Pigs? This “lesson” sounds like the US being “under aggression”. The “lesson” suffers from many gaps and is not objective. The “quid pro quo” would introduce some nuance. And the “perception” or knowledge of the public is far from being enough to explain the situation. And that includes the dilemma JFK had to face when making his decisions. And when questioning about the “likelihood” of a nuclear strike? Castro may have been a mad dog... not Cuba neither the USSR ever used an atomic bomb in a conflict... for what we know. Khrushchev decided to remove the missiles because the US accepted to remove the ones they actually had at the door or USSR (in Turkey). Again, if the point of the podcast is to teach objective history, skip this channel. They do not miss the target. They literally didn’t even aim at it. Sorry. Bad.
