Henry Sacramento dedicated more than 37 years to the Royal Gibraltar Police, where he became widely respected for his work in community policing, welfare support, and charitable outreach. He also plays an important role in promoting cultural understanding and humanitarian links between Gibraltar and Morocco through the Strait of Gibraltar Association. In recognition of their service to the community and the arts, they have both received the Gibraltar Medallion of Honour. Together, Henry and Priscilla are known for their altruistic spirit, warmth, and unwavering kindness. With a career spanning decades, her research has taken her across the globe, studying jellyfish species in diverse marine environments and contributing to a deeper understanding of their behavior, ecology, and impact on our oceans. Her work includes international collaborations with scientists in New Zealand, where she has been investigating jellyfish blooms and analysing global trends linked to changing ocean conditions. As climate change continues to warm our seas, Dr. Lucas is at the forefront of research exploring how these shifts are influencing jellyfish populations and what that means for marine ecosystems worldwide.
