New Stuff - The Odyssey (2026)

We’ve been behind on the hot new movies that have been coming out this year so we did a little cinema/streaming grind and hit up five fresh flicks. We’re calling this series NEW STUFF SHOWCASE and we’re discussing them in the order of maximum profit first. That said, The Odyssey is still selling tickets and packing the IMAX going into week four so it looks like the Nolan epic might become a certified “Billy” (billion at the box office) so THE ODYSSEY is first! The hottest cake on the griddle! NO NOTES FOR THIS DISCUSSION! 100% GUARANTEED TO BE MORE MEANDERING THAN EVER! How did we like Christopher Nolan’s adaptation? Did Matt Damon bring it? Did the effects go hard? How delicious is the Cyclops cheese? How close is too close at an IMAX screening? Do the Sirens at least make you cum first before they eat you? Are the sobbing reactionary hordes onto something? Of course not. It’s all about having a good time at the movies so hit play and let us set the record straight.   Credits “Rocky Top” by Osborne Brothers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7f3yfEocubs&list=RD7f3yfEocubs&start_radio=1   “Sails of Charon” by Scorpions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXbDOU30fyg&list=RDRXbDOU30fyg&start_radio=1   IG: https://www.instagram.com/theprojectorsshow/   Subscribe to THE PROJECTORS on YouTube and podcast for a plethora of movie discussions as well as weekly repostings of our very first movie podcast “Documenteers” and much much more!
