    This past week, thanks to a trip to Michigan, I enjoyed a break from surface-of-the-sun temperatures, but the Shankles have had to deal with some severe summer weather in San Antonio. Melanie and I talk about both of those things in this episode, along with Mel's newfound interest in a previously unknown-to-her historical figure.
