Chester J. Delagneau, Jr., was born in Nicaragua to Latino immigrant parents who sought solace in America, during a Nicaraguan civil war between the Sandinistas and the Contras. He grew up in South Orange County, namely Huntington Beach and Mission Viejo before moving to San Clemente. He and his wife and son reside in Temecula. Chester is an author, blogger, apologist, and spoken word poet. Biblical Ethics is Chester's first academic book, which is becoming very popular in the Christian community. His parents' memoir entitled Flight to Freedom: A Story of Refuge, Redemption and Restoration, is his second book, which took him and his parents five years to write. His passion for writing also extends to fiction. As a father and son team, Chester and Nathanael have written an ingenious children's book called Imagining Jesus: Practicing the Presence of God for Children, which facilitates children's faith and imagination to blast off into the spiritual atmosphere of practicing the presence of God. Chester then completed a 556 page book on poetry, prose and short stories, called From the Ashes We Rise, from the metaphor of the phoenix, the prototypical person who is reborn—stronger, wiser, and more powerful—from the ashen depths of suffering. A few years later, Chester wrote a 630 page book titled Imaginative Apologetics, which is quickly becoming a staple on the subject. Not long after that, he published his first speculative fiction novel--Salvador--which is based on the extraordinary adventures of Sofía de La Cruz. Sofía's older brother, Salvador (Jesus in disguise), has been murdered and she is LAPD’s number one suspect. With providential clues left by Salvador, and the sovereign wisdom of a strange sage, named Don Ricardo, Sofía has until midnight to find Salvador’s slayer and stop him from taking over the world and attaining the keys to the kingdom of heaven.
