Hyperfixation: A Queer Fandom Podcast

Three family members of varying levels of queerness and with varying fandom interests gather to discuss their hyperfixations and fleeting passions. We started as Briikasak: A Mandalorian Podcast at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, but have expanded to general fandoms, commenting with a queer perspective.

    The gang revisits the Fox X-Men movies from the early 2000s. They are possibly the gayest the X-Men will ever be on the big screen. Iceman is doing a lot of closeted teen behavior, Ian McKellen plays Magneto gay, and the queer metaphor is strong.     The Vampire Lestat: The Failures

    Lestat defends his life to Gabs and the Fledglings of Failure. Louis has to stand up to gremlin Armand and save Regina. We spend a lot of time at the long table.
