The waitress pulled up, she ordered her cookie and muffin, he went for the chocolate cake and strawberry waffle — and from there it was a wrap. She broke the cookie in half and slid him the bigger piece, they talked so long the food went cold, and a whole hour slipped by like nothing. Both POVs, one coffee date.
