Longship Marine sells new, used, and consignment boat parts and supplies, with some boaters making a pilgrimage to the store from other states! The liveaboards are also in the midst of construction, turning the old 1818 Grieg Hall into an events center and marine classroom.

This episode: Daeron and Darren welcome another a third Darren to the show. Darren Austin is the founder and creator of the OnBuoy Guest Moorage Community. After rushing all day to try and grab a buoy, he looked out and wondered why someone couldn't connect private buoy and dock owners with boaters looking for guest moorage. So he did! Now there's a site for private owners to offer their buoys and docks to responsible visiting boaters. And boat owners can rest assured as every private buoy and dock in the OnBuoy system has a documented inspection report for structural integrity within the last 12 months! Plus, by utilizing mooring equipment already in place, there will be less damage to the seafloor. And as a WA State Social Purpose Corporation, OnBuoy SPC donates to non-profit organizations focused on marine ecology and shoreline restoration.
