S Ondřejem Boháčem, ředitelem pražského Institutu plánování a rozvoje, jsme nejprve probrali jeho background. Třeba jak vášeň pro mapy vedla až ke studiu geografie. Mluvili jsme i o tom, jak propadl zvonům a zvonění v pražských chrámech. Ale samozřejmě jsme důkladně prodiskutovali, co IPR dělá a jaké výzvy stojí před Prahou: od dostupnosti bydlení přes výškové budovy po výstavbu podzemních dopravních uzlů.

Probrali jsme slabiny i dobré stránky české ekonomiky, příčiny úspěchů Polska i perspektivy lidového kapitalismu. Shodli jsme se, že žít v Číně bychom nechtěli, rozebrali jsme americký apetit k riziku a perspektivu jednotného kapitálového trhu v Evropě.

Official figures put the number of Ukrainian soldiers killed at 55,000 since the full-scale Russian invasion began, but that is believed to be an underestimate, with many more missing. The number of Russian soldiers killed is believed to be much higher. The civilian death toll in Ukraine stands at more then 14,000. Repeated attempts at a peace deal have failed. In the face of ongoing Russian aggression, President Zelensky remains defiant. Russia has started the Third World War, he says, and must not be allowed to win.
