    Our guest this week is a hard-charging Kauai'an, known for paddling into any death pit at Pipe and chasing XXL swells across the globe. His résumé is stacked, winning the Pipeline Invitational in 2014 earning a coveted Pipe Masters wildcard, and taking the crown at the prestigious Da Hui Backdoor Shootout with a $30K payday! Also being awarded “Wave of the Decade” in 2020, add to that multiple “Wave of the Winter” and “XXL Big Wave Award” nominations, it’s clear he earned his place as a Big Wave Warrior! But if there’s one moment that etched his name into surfing history and mainstream headlines, it was the wild Teahupoo incident when the jet ski he was driving went over the falls, literally launching over the head of Big-Wave Legend Raimana Van Bastolaer.  A viral clip that lit up Social Media, covered by Sports Illustrated and major news outlets worldwide. Beyond charging slabs, he’s managed the Quiksilver North Shore Athlete House for the last decade, and has the passion and dedicates time to giving back supporting those battling Cystic Fibrosis. We’re honored to welcome to the show a true Hawaiian charger and legend of our sport, Reef “BIG CAT” McIntosh!

    Our guest this week is a Hawaiian surfer who’s been battling it out in the lineup since the young age of 8. Going head-to-head with some of the most prominent Surfers to ever come out of Hawaii. Following those intense amateur rivalries onto the world stage, he qualified for the Championship Tour in 2015. His career-defining moment came at the Quiksilver Pro France, where he took down legends Kelly Slater, John John Florence, and Gabriel Medina to claim one of the biggest wins of his career. Beyond that, he has stacked multiple victories on the Qualifying Series—from Virginia Beach and Barbados to Huntington Beach at the Jack’s Pro, and of course, at his home break, the world-famous Ala Moana Bowls. But his proudest accomplishments are off the competitive stage, marrying his wife, UFC fighter Kailin Curran, and raising their two beautiful children. Today, he’s giving back, with his knowledge, passion, and wisdom to the next generation of rippers as part of the Billabong family. We are honored to welcome to the show, Mr. Keanu Asing.

From advertising sales to serving as General Manager, he spearheaded some of the industry’s most iconic initiatives and events, including Camp Shred, Surfer The Bar, Surfing The Shop, and the legendary Surfer Poll Awards on the North Shore. He also worked on Surfer Girl Magazine, a groundbreaking publication dedicated to celebrating and empowering female surfers. In 2019, he made the jump into real estate, where his dedication, work ethic, and deep community ties have fueled a thriving career while freelancing for marketing/social media strategies with multiple brands!  Which led to a full-time gig at Salt Life.  We are stoked to sit down and hear his story  please welcome to the show, Mr. Tony Perez.

    Our guest this week when not traveling and scoring waves, splits his time between his home in New York and Winters on the Northshore. He is one of the most creative aerialists out there as well as a hard charging barrel riding extraordinaire. His talents were discovered at a young age by Quiksilver during a summer surf camp and having early success on winning numerous amateur contests and air shows. It was to no surprise that Quik would invest and send him to Australia to train with legendary surf trainer “Mick Cain”. Results from training hard and pure talent… he won the wildcard to compete at home in the 2011 Quiksilver Pro New York. With years of traveling and paying his dues in heavy hollow waves in places like Mainland Mexico, Tahiti, Fiji, and winters in Hawaii, he eventually made a name for himself in lineup at The Banzai Pipeline. You’ve seen him on Youtube, or one of his films “Stacked" or "Hail Mary”, or maybe on Stab Highway California and definitely on the podium winning the 2022 Van’s Pipe Master, we welcome Balaram “BAL“ Stack.     Our guest this week is a Surfer that relocated to Maui at an early age to live the Surfer’s Life in Paradise.  Surfing all day and working in restaurants and retail to make ends meet.  He got a job at Hobie and was very fortunate to have Dick Metz as a mentor and quickly climbed the ladder from part-time to running and buying for all Hobie Surf Shops at the young age of 23.  He is also a restauranteur with over 4 Decades at Duke’s as GM and Managing partner.  From Maui, to Malibu, to Huntington Beach, he has been a fixture at Huntington Beach serving up Aloha and great Hawaiian food and drinks to all those that walk through the door for the last 25 years.  Duke’s has been a staple and cornerstone restaurant in Surf community as a sponsor, supporter for local Surf Contests, Fundraisers, and specialty events.  Now he is taking all his knowledge down to Surf City El Salvador to launch a restaurant and help manage their tourism/hospitality division.  We welcome the amazing talented Mr. Brett Barnes.
