    In this episode, I’m sharing all my thoughts on the latest episode of Love Island Season 8. Bitch the drama, the couples, the moments that had me yelling at my TV, and, of course, my completely unfiltered hot takes. I also get a little more personal as I reflect on my upcoming wedding anniversary. It’s hard to believe another year has gone by, and I’m feeling so grateful for my husband. He recently surprised me with a new phone, and while it was such a thoughtful gift, it reminded me that life isn’t really about the things we own. It’s about the people we get to share our lives with, the memories we make, and the love that carries us through every season. And since it’s summer, I’m talking about something that’s been bringing me so much joy lately: finding a healthy balance between cozy nights watching my favorite show and actually getting outside to touch some grass, soak up the sunshine, and enjoy the season. It’s a fun, heartfelt conversation filled with reality TV chatter, gratitude, love, and a reminder to appreciate the little moments that make life so special.

    Life is kicking my ass

    I’ve been feeling mentally exhausted and like I’ve been comparing myself a lot lately. I want to be at a point where I can fully accept myself flaws and all, which I guess you could say is easier said than done, but it takes a lot of practice anyways. I went to the doctors and didn’t get the best news, but I’m trying to be OK with where I am now, of course it hurts and of course it’s going to be difficult and the journey is going to take a while. However, two things can be true at the same time: one, I am grateful for everything that I have and two, I’m struggling and that’s okay! I think I’m going to take it slow, but also romanticize and enjoy my life as much as possible…

    First of all, I need y’all to know I’m recording this episode on my period, so if I sound emotional, dramatic, slightly unhinged, or ready to fight… mind your business. 😂 In this episode, we get into the Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson cheating drama because be serious… did anyone actually think Megan Thee Stallion was about to sign up for a polygamous situation? Absolutely insane behavior. We also get into my very strong opinions about men who hurt women and children.,. and yes, I said what I said. Then we talk about the tragic case involving D4vid and the murder charges connected to Celeste Hernandez Rivas. May she rest in peace. And because this podcast believes in emotional whiplash, I also share my Pap smear horror story because being a woman is honestly a comedy mixed with psychological warfare sometimes.
