The Future of Coaching with Alex Sarama (ENG)

The Future of Coaching with Alex Sarama (ENG)

Hi poppies, we proudly present episode 55 with Alex Sarama, head coach for CollegePrep in Italy and player development coach. With his innovative way of coaching, he made his way to France, also working for Paris Basketball.
    🧠🍿
This episode is a must-listen if you want to become a better player or coach – in any kind of sport! We mostly talked basketball related but if you listen carefully, Alex will defy the way you think about practice in general, poppie-promise! 🤞🏼
    🧠🍿
This approach prioritises self-organization as the most powerful and lasting way of learning! It will be the future of coaching and you get a chance to listen to it’s theory and practice, to start riding ahead of the wave too.
    🧠🍿
Here is only a selection of topics we touched upon:
Ecological dynamics, dynamic system theory, self-organization, constraints-led approach, degrees of freedom, repetition without repetition, affordances, attractors, small sided games and many more! 🤯🤯🤯
    🧠🍿
One of our favorite episodes so far! Lean back and prepare to rewind a lot of times.

Athletiktraininers? Und wieso es im Training über die körperliche Ebene hinausgehen sollte und ein ehrliches, tiefes Interesse an Menschen dafür nötig ist … stay tuned and enjoy some #brainpops 🔥
