His search leads him to Haymes a quiet older man living alone with enough emotional baggage to fill an entire mansion. What starts off as curiosity slowly turns into something way deeper as Dawn finds comfort in Haymes only to realize the man he’s falling for might actually be tied to the tragedy that ruined his life. This story is short but somehow manages to pack in so much angst, tension, guilt, longing, and emotional damage in the best way possible. The chemistry between Dawn and Haymes feels so heavy from the start and every chapter just keeps peeling back more secrets until you’re sitting there stressed out for everybody involved. Nocturne really knew how to make a story feel soft, haunting, romantic, and painful all at the same time.So of course we had to sit down and talk about why BL authors love making beautiful men suffer for our entertainment. If you love messy emotions, doomed romance, and stories that leave you staring at the wall after finishing them this episode is definitely for you.

A revenge years in the making, designed not just to hurt but to make him feel every single thing he once inflicted on someone else. the closer they get the more the emotions stop lining up with the plan. Anger turns into something heavier control starts slipping on both sides and suddenly it’s not just about revenge anymore it’s about obsession power and a connection that refuses to stay simple.
