    He liked music by earlier English composers, folk music and poetry, especially poetry from ancient India. The success of The Planets thrust him into the spotlight and enabled him to focus more of his time on what he loved, composing.

Super Podcast

This podcast is all I have been looking for to introduce my kids to classical music. It is funny, and the music that is played illustrate the subjects perfectly. It is short and sweet, and keeps my kids (and me) interested and waiting for the next new one to come... Keep them coming you have some fans!
