We sat down with Steve, Barry & Marty Gregg after the Clydesdale Sale Banquet. The stories and the joke with some beers kicked off! Message of the episode is to try your hardest, but have fun. We feel that the Greggs are a prefect representation of presenting a great exhibit but having a pile of fun along the way.

Christy & Kayle sat down with longtime breeder and Clyde historian Patrick McCarry. We talked about his start, some history and some of his mentors. Pat is super passionate about getting the youth involved with the breed. Sit down for a great episode with several topics being discussed.

From the NBA to Clydesdales

Christy and Kayle got the opportunity to sit down with the former NBA player Marcus Landry at the 2026 National Clydesdale Sale. We reflect on his career and upbringing and how he decided to get into the Clydesdale business. he and his wife started Beulah Family Homestead, it is a program to teach inner city youth about farming and agriculture. He gets into what his mission is in life and how he is making an impact in these young peoples lives. If you are interested in supporting his cause, please reach out to them on social media.

While we were out in MA we had to record an episode with Ned & Jan Niemiec. Ned has had a lifelong career in the draft horse world. We hear his start in the industry, how he and Jan met, and their experiences in life. Thanks to these two wonderful people for the amazing hospitality on our trip out east.

The interview covers the history of Hallamore Clydesdales, how Barry first chose the breed for parade promotion, and stories from his half-century involvement with draft horses. We finish our conversation with Dennis Barry & Ned Niemiec. Dennis talks about a few more stories of purchasing horses, along with how the Hallamore Corporation came to be. On behalf of Christy and myself, we would like to thank Dennis Barry, along with Ned & Jan Niemiec for a great trip.

Hallamore Clydesdales • Dennis Barry & 50+ Years of Clydesdales Part 1

Christy & Kayle Flew out last week to get a bucket list interview with Mr. Dennis Barry. Since the inception of this podcast he was an interview that was needed. Dennis has giving the majority of his life to the Clydesdale Horse as they were an advertiser of his business. Hallamore Corporation started out as a horse drawn livery business in Brockton, When Dennis took over Hallamore Corp. he thought it would be a great thing to have a pair of horses and a wagon to use in parades for promotion. I don't think at that time he thought it would be a 50+ year venture with the Clydesdale Horse. Christy & I would like to thank Dennis Barry and Ned Niemiec for the generous hospitality on their trip out east. We hope you enjoy!

Christy sits down with Kellie Gardner to ask a few blind questions to get to know her a bit better before the voting begins for the 2026 Board of Directors Election begins. All those running for the board of directors were emailed, and asked to be interviewed. Only 4 of the 7 agreed to the interview.
