Coding Blocks

I’ve been listening to these guys for years now, through several jobs and phases of my life, even before I became a software developer. Best Practices, Technologies, Tools, you name it: There is always something interesting to learn and a it’s all sprinkled with a good load of fun. Even though there’s so much quality info in each episode, they somehow manage to make the podcast really casually enjoyable. This is especially impressive considering that a lot of tech podcasts can’t even manage to be either entertaining or informative, let alone both. I’ve loved these guys on long commutes and I continue to love them while doing chores, always looking forward to the next episode. Thanks and keep it up!

The friendly chemistry among the 3 hosts is super entertaining. The jokes that break up the educational content makes the learning fun. I enjoy hanging out with these guys every episode. It is obvious these guys have a lot of experience, that they enjoy discussing the topics, and that they put a lot of work into bringing us quality content. I am very grateful.

Highly recommended source of programming knowledge dissected by a trio of industry veterans, each of whom approaches the topics with personal anecdotes. This trio knows how to put each topic of the day into the bigger picture and how it affects everyone around it, such as project managers, customers and even your lower back. But their discussions also work their way down and discuss different details of implementation at various levels. Usually I consume this podcast while I'm dealing with the household chores or commuting, because even if the podcast has some pauses and lighter sections, it's still an stampede of knowledge. At times they grab technical books and turn each chapter into a podcast, debating the key insights and they giving their real world examples. So what I like to do is to read/-reread the chapter beforehand so the podcast turns into a revision.

But I listen to your show anyway. I constantly mix up your voices... who is the guy that sounds like Kermit? And is the one guy really named Outlaw? What a great name!
