Every day many of us report to a box where strangers will judge, bully or abuse us. We'll fritter away at largely irrelevant tasks or worse at meaningful tasks reduced to absurdity by rules and procedures that don't just defy logic, they call into question the very ability of organizations to do anything but make the world a worse place. Some people call this work. We call it the Depression Chamber. **The identities of our interviewees are protected with voice changers and pseudonyms to allow for honesty without retaliation.
