Ty from Comeuppance Reviews is back for his monthly spot on the pod as we look at "A Line of Fire" and "Prey of Wrath". With "A Line of Fire," it wasn't horrible, but David AR White as an action lead was tough for us to take. Then on the second one, Tatiana Neva was the standout, but it was also nice to see Cynthia Rothrock get a nice action scene in. DTVC Extra 55 "Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 pt 2" and "The Punisher: One Last Kill"

"DTVC Extra" are shorter solo episodes that I'll be posting on some weeks in addition to the main podcast. In this episode I look at what I call "Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 pt 2," because I felt like season 2 was just part 2 of season 1. I start with why it took me so long to watch those eight episodes, and then I get into why a lot of it didn't work for me. In the second segment, I look at the one-off "The Punisher: One Last Kill," which I enjoyed a lot more. I also give my ideas for other one-offs, including a team up of Thomas Jane's Punisher and Wesley Snipes's Blade--tell me you wouldn't love that! Finally, in the last segment I talk about my 2024 book "Nadia and Aidan," giving some background on how I came up with the story and characters, and some of the rules I broke to write it. We're joined once again by Jon Cross from the PM Entertainment Podcast and the After Movie Diner, this time to discuss a Last Seduction double feature. With the first one, we look at where it fits with the other great films of 1994, then dig in on what works and what doesn't, including a couple glaring plot holes. DTVC Podcast 269, "Shepherd Code: Lapierre" and "Clear Cut"

Ty from Comeuppance Reviews is back for his monthly spot on the pod as we look at the third Alan Delabie Lapierre film "Shepherd Code: Lapierre," and "Clear Cut" starring a lot of returning podcast champions. With "Shepherd Code: Lapierre," it had some nice moments, but the pacing made it difficult for us. Then on the second one, it also had its flaws, but that cast of familiar podcast faces made it a fun watch. We're joined once again this week by screenwriter Richard Pierce, as we look at the Jalal Merhi classic(?) "Expect to Die."
