    Ep 13 - SpyGame

Justin and Jesse take on an episode that neither of them ranks as a favorite — and still pull out a full table's worth of truth. When Bluey's spy-potion game collapses under her own bossiness, the fallout becomes a picture of why God designed us for community from the very first pages of Scripture. Along the way: a rock-stacking metaphor that doesn't quite stick, a cup in the ocean, and Bluey learning to put Bingo first.   What we unpack this episode: - The meltdown — assigned roles nobody wants, and how "taking your ball and going home" wrecks the game. - Bossiness bites back — Bluey refuses to use Bingo's pretend name (Sparkle Shocks), then kicks her out entirely. - Bandit's pack metaphor — "We all have a place in the pack," even when the stack-of-rocks illustration doesn't land. - The turn — Bluey realizes the game is simply better with her sister in it, and finally apologizes. - Putting others first — Bluey steps back so Bingo can take the moment, a picture of Christ-shaped humility.   Scripture in this episode: - Genesis 2:18 — "It is not good that man should be alone"; community is built into creation. - Ephesians 3:17-19 — rooted in love and filled with God's fullness, known together "with all the saints." - Hebrews 10:24-25 — a staple verse at our church: don't forsake gathering; spur one another on. - Philippians 2:1-4 — count others more important than yourself; the opposite of selfish ambition.   Books & resources: - Path of Progress — a gamified chore-and-discipleship app for families (30-day free trial at pathofprogress.ca).
