The bittersweet end of the finale episode of Season One of The Valley focuses on the demise of two couples 6 months after initial filming wrapped. We see Jesse and Jax finally facing repercussions for their shortcomings as husbands. Meanwhile, Michelle and Britney appear to have found peace and stability being on their own, despite both having to move themselves and their children out of their family homes. While Jesse has mostly accepted his harsh new reality, Jax doesn't seem to grasp the severity of the situation as he continues to gaslight a fed up Britney and cancels a long awaited therapy session - we can only assume he'll wait to work on himself for the cameras when Season 2 begins filming.

Part one of a two part finale recap shows the group settling back in after Big Bear and preparing for the grand opening of Jax's (and Britney's) oxygen rich bar in Studio City. While Zach gets fired up about Janet not trusting him and plans to confront her about their issues, Kristin goes in hoping to make peace with Michelle. Britney continues to show consideration and kindness to Jax by getting his family there, and Jax continues to say he's stressed when she brings up his shortcomings. Then, Myrtle Beach police reports, as well as affidavits from Mica's sister Sierra Brown, brother Nate Francis, and new filings from JP's ex-wife Alison, reveal startling and heartbreaking revelations.
