Deep insights & Fun

Wonderful podcasts series in which, as it is now a tradition of Dr. Trost, he tries mainly to reconcile the need for effective leadership, talent development and continuing learning with the natural necessity of growth and achievement of any individual. Through the assessment of past actions, motives, and values of traditional HR, he clears the away of dogma, outside expectations and conventional to promote a new philosophy and purpose for HR, which he reaches across unexplored strategic HR paths where responsibility, maturity, influence, and integrity are the basis to keep a competitive nature and fair play.

However, since in many of the chapters he also implicitly endorses self-evaluation and accepting responsibility for self-imposed limitations not only organizations and HR departments can benefit from listening to him. Trainees, employees, leaders and executives at all levels may hear the call to a new way of work that can bring about growth and purpose in our professional careers and which can be of great value in agility, where life unfolds at an accelerated pace, yet still with direction. Through his numerous recalls about his collaborations with other professionals and executives, and how these encounters have enriched his professional life, he not only teaches us about having a flexible mind open to the ideas of others but he also promotes thought for the greater good.
