Welcome to Kidacity where kids learn and take action together. We all love travelling and exploring new places. In this podcast, I will take you to a new country/place in every episode. We will together discover the geography, history, culture and cuisine of that place. But, most importantly, I will also talk about a challenge that children in that country/city face. After all, we are global citizens and we should be aware of how children in other parts of the world are living.I will also be speaking with some inspiring children and adults from time to time. All of the research, scripting and recording is done by me and I'm learning how to edit as well. A little bit about me: I'm an 11 year old from Bengaluru, India and a student of Grade 5 in The International School Bengaluru. I love building structures with Jenga blocks, learning about planes, writing, my dog Yuki's nose and most of all, Japan. I research a lot about these topics and share what I learn with my family and friends. My parents encouraged me to write and I have published 2 books so far. The Talking Walking Tree and Konnichiwa Izumi: Adventures in 2040. Both of them are available on Amazon and at leading bookstores in India. I will be grateful if you encourage me by listening to my podcast, reading my books and sharing your feedback with me. You can write to me at samarth.chitta@gmail.com . or follow me on Instagram/Twitter @samarthchitta

Ep 104- Terrific Thailand (History, Culture, Cuisine and Change Petition)

I took a short break due to my Summer vacation and losing access to my Gmail account. All my research and scripts were linked to that account and it took a while for me to retrieve them.

This week, I take you to a country which has some of the most amazing beaches and food. I'm sure you must've tasted the wonderful red and green curries from this country. Join me as I take you through the history, geography, culture and cuisine of Thailand.

I also had an opportunity to visit Sri Lanka in my vacation and experience many aspects of what I covered in Ep 102 including the petition about elephants being exploited for tourism.

Ep 103- Inspiring Interview With Ms. Pika Nani (Author of Shrilok Homeless & Other Titles): Must Listen For Aspiring Writers

If you are an adventure book lover, I highly recommend that you read the series of Shrilok Homeless. I picked up this book recently and couldn't put it down until I finished it. I loved the characters, stories and the various twists and turns. As an aspiring author, I really wanted to understand how the author created this character and her process of writing.

In this episode, we will be speaking with the author of this series Ms. Pika Nani (listen to the episode to find out the story behind the name!) who graciously agreed to be on my show.  Our conversation was amazing and I learned a lot of tips about being an effective writer as well.

Don't miss out this Inspiring Interview!
