Love this podcast

much love and admiration from Germany!

In your last podcast you mentioned the insecurities you had a couple years ago... well I’m feeling that way too! The thing is, I’m in a relationship and I’m happy! He’s treating me like nobody in my life did before and I really love him. But my insecurities are getting in the way of it. Every day I don’t see him and I begin to feel bad about myself, I’m starting a fight with him and I start to doubt everything he does and say even if he’s not doing anything at all. But my thoughts take control over me. I start to compare myself with the girl he once had a thing going on with (not even something serious, I’m his first serious relationship and he always tells me how much he loves me and that I’m the first special woman in his life) but still my mind is playing games and is constantly telling me things like: you can’t trust anybody, maybe he saw a prettier girl today and now he wants to be with her,... sometimes I feel sick about myself and about my thoughts and I always try to tell myself the opposite and I always try to think positive but on most days when I’m not with him it’s just not working. On days I’m actually with him I always feel good! And I’m always confident and happy! It’s just my own mind that’s planting those bad thoughts! And I don’t know what to do... and I recognize how happy and confident you got the last years and how comfortable you feel about yourself in your relationship. And maybe you can tell us how you did that and what helped you get over the insecurities you had (especially in relationships).
