Wizard on!

I thought about re-reading the Harry Potter books but found this podcast. Now I‘m an absolute fan! It’s Perfect especially if you‘ve already read the books and want a litte flashback.

My very important and requested opinion

I really enjoy listening to this and Mike hating Quidditch. If you like Harry Potter you should definitely listen to this! It reminds you of your first time reading this and get a different perspective 🙃

Great idea - sadly large decline

The podcast premise was interesting so I stuck by it until now. Up until the Halfblood prince I greatly can recommend this podcast as Mike and his guests do a great job and I always found myself caught in their stories. Sadly afterwards, the commercials/namementioning are taking up 5-6min of approx. 44min total episode, Mike gets caught up on focusing more on using „his“ tagline (whoops there goes gravity) and trying to get more liked by venturing into politics and racial discussions with a very narrow and single minded opinion based on the US which is concerning - especially considering that he has spent time in Europe where the book is set - and the focus is not on „a guy reading Harry Potter and his thoughts on the story itself“ anymore. So yes up until Halfblood Prince - it is a good podcast until it is not.
