Highlight of my week
So at the end of my week, just for the start of the weekend, I receive my dosis of horror. Neatly measured in the right quantity. Sometimes great, sometimes average and sometimes so gruesome that I either listen to it twice and I even had to skip an episode or two, because it was just to close to home. Keep up the good work.
My bedtime stories
I am always on the hunt for anything lovecraftian and while not every story here is, so many delightfuly are. And even when they're not, they still most often scare in all the right ways. I have discovered many new writers and here refound/rediscovered authors I had forgotten about except for the terror they had gifted me some time in my past. Also, deeply appreciate the inclusion of LGBT and POC writers and storylines. Thank you pseudopod, you are the best. Now get back to creeping me out. Pretty sure there's a tentacle or two hereabouts somewhere.
best horror short fiction
I listen to this weekly, together with the other escape artists' casts Escape Pod and Podcastle. This one is about horror and can get rather disturbing. It includes current authors and the occasional classic. The production quality is excellent, and the host is really good as well.
