Hello from Germany (could you tell by the flag?)!
I thought maybe it's a nice thing to hear that you also have listeners ABROOOAD.
Well, ... one listener. But maybe there's more.
I really like your Stand-Up, Mr. Bargatze. That somewhat placid/anticlimactic delivery you have... i think that's just a joy to watch.
To me personally, it is the more appealing type of Stand-Up, but i like the loud guys (Bill Burr, Chris Rock,...) also. I feel like MOST of the super famous Comedians are loud ones though. Even a Chappelle shouts and screams from time to time. What do you think? Is that a coincidence or do they actually have a broader appeal because there is something to "playing the monkey" (to quote Pete Holmes) on stage, which audiences just still want to see or even expect?
Where am i even going with this? Oh yeah, i wanted to say that i like your style and even though your not really telling jokes and bits in the podcast your style does translate into you just talking and makes it very enjoyable for me.
The rest of the crew is super likeable as well of course! I hope to catch some of your Stand-Up soon.
Addendum:
Fun facts:
-An anagram of "Nate Bargatze" is "Get a zebra tan"
- Braten's name actually means "roast" in German. Which you shouldn't overdo with Braten, ... unless it's in good faith. I CAN NEVER TELL WITH YOU DARK-HUMORED AMERICANS.
ByeBye, expecting your EuropeTour soon
