This week, we're scratching The Itch to be dangerous! Brayden and Ryan of Fury in Few are back to answer the question How Bad Do You Want It? on their outstanding debut album. Plus, we'll discuss the song on the album that isn't theirs and get excited about chain sandwich shops, all while Dan does the interview ... concussed? Enjoy. This week, we're scratching The Itch to get Villainous! Amanda Lyberg of Eva Under Fire returns to give us an exclusive track-by-track breakdown of the band's highly anticipated new album. Ekoh and Lø Spirit of Ninth Key on Choosing the Authentic Over the Artificial

This week, we're scratching The Itch for a two-for-one deal! Ekoh and Lø Spirit have spent years forging unique paths as independent solo artists. But a collaboration a few years ago led to the realization that, well, they love collaborating. They formalized their alliance this year with a new band, Ninth Key, and put themselves on the map (and the charts) immediately with their debut single, "If I Wasn't Me". With a strong ethos and a stronger work ethic, Ekoh and Lø have set out to claw their way to success without a big team, cowriters, or AI behind them. Their determination and DIY attitude make them the exact kind of authentic, against-the-grain guys The Itch loves to root for. And their penchant for dropping nuggets of wisdom in conversation make them the exact kind of guys we love to talk with. Enjoy. Concert Catch-up: Primus, The Claypool Lennon Delirium, Toadies, Local H, Lip Critic, Delivery Boys, and more!

This week, we're scratching The Itch to get amphibious and delirious! We saw some toads, some frogs, and some excellent bands, and now it's time to talk about it. First, Aaron pivots his original plans in favor of an impromptu free (or suggested donation) street fest performance by Lip Critic and Delivery Boys. Will The Itch become fans of yet MORE New York acts? Then he sees some familiar faces in recent guests Toadies and perennial favorites Local H, along with Dallas's own Vandoliers in a night full of cow punk, nasty riffs, falling flags, and a Local H set that had a theme! Finally, KC and Dan check out Les Claypool pulling triple duty playing for Primus, The Claypool Lennon Delirium, and The Frog Brigade all in one night! When your night involves the son of a Beatle, a drummer with good taste, and something about cockroaches, it's probably gonna be a good time. And we hope you have a good time hearing about it. Enjoy. Coco Kinnon of Winona Fighter on Warped Tour, Political Frustration, and Taking the Stairs to Success

This week, we're scratching The Itch for a class reunion! The Itch's Favorite Punk Band™ Winona Fighter is about to head out on the idobi Radio Summer School tour with Honey Revenge, South Arcade, Games We Play, and Chase Petra. And just in time to hit the road, they dropped a new single, "Bombs Away," their first new music since both versions of last year's Itch Album of the Year My Apologies to the Chef. Lead lady Coco Kinnon joins the three-timer's club to talk about the tour, the single, and how they proved to themselves what they're capable of with their wild, life-changing 2025. Plus, we discuss the band's return to Warped Tour, their desire to speak to political frustration across ideologies, their new PG and not-so-PG t-shirts, and how a date night can lead to an acoustic reimagining of an entire album. As always with Winona F'n Fighter, this one's a good time. Enjoy. Listen to The Itch Rock Radio Show Rock with us every Sunday night from 6-9pm CST on KCLC-FM in St. Louis. Outside the area? Aurorawave on Shiprocked, Wave Day, and Turning Content Into Community

This week, we're scratching The Itch to ride the wave! Wave Day II in Santa Ana, California is only days away, and our boys in Aurorawave are so excited about it that the whole band stopped by to talk about their signature show, which also features Lexi Layne, Playuh, and the live solo debut of Sonny Dread of P.O.D.! And of course we've got to cover their instantly legendary Shiprocked experience, where they won over the crowd so much with their beach set and impromptu video shoot that they ended up getting the rare back-to-back year invite for 2027! The guys have a lot to say about their time on the boat, including thoughts on networking with other bands, making connections with new fans, and inspiration they took from seeing Knocked Loose. Plus, we've got stories of Aurorawave's most dangerous drives, how reggae bands always end up on the beach (but not usually in front of metal heads), and, as expected, plenty of thoughtful insight on how to use digital means to build community with real people. Enjoy. Listen to The Itch Rock Radio Show Rock with us every Sunday night from 6-9pm CST on KCLC-FM in St. Louis. Outside the area? Concert Catch-up: Bring Me the Horizon, Motionless in White, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Pointfest, and more!

This week, we're scratching The Itch for etiquette! The guys caught a trio of VERY different shows with one thing in common: concertgoers in need of friendly reminders about how to act. But that's what we're here for, right? That and giggles. First, it's an early Father's Day as Dan takes his dad to see Itch guest Kenny Wayne Shepherd on his Ledbetter Heights 30th anniversary tour, where nostalgia and mastery were both on display. Then, Dan pivots to being the dad himself, as he and Hannah take their sons (and KC!) to see Bring Me the Horizon, Motionless in White, The Plot in You, and Amira Elfeky at a show that would gain national rock news attention for a rather unpleasant reason. (Don't worry, it had nothing to do with us.) And finally, we cover Pointfest for the sixth year in a row. But when a show's headliner is unbearably boring, the rest of the lineup has a lot of weight to pull. Did they succeed? Listen to find out as Dan catches Magnolia Park, From Ashes to New, Highly Suspect, Mammoth, and Blue October! And stay to the end for an etiquette proposal that you're sure to have an opinion on! Enjoy. Listen to The Itch Rock Radio Show Rock with us every Sunday night from 6-9pm CST on KCLC-FM in St. Louis. Outside the area?
