    The Mechanic (1972)

    "Money is paid, but that is not the motive. It has to do with standing outside of it all, on your own." Welcome to my dojo, this is Kung Fu Pizza Party. Today, I'm headed back to 1972 to review a classic action film starring Uncle Charlie himself, The Mechanic starring Charles Bronson. This film is a well told story about embracing your alternative lifestyle while still seeing the wisdom in the traditions within that lifestyle. It also features big guns, motorcycle chases, and lots of explosions. What's not to like about this film?     Street Fighter

    "If good men do nothing, that is evil enough." Welcome to my dojo, this is Kung Fu Pizza Party. Today, we are back at the Arcade again this time with a look at the 1994 cult classic Street Fighter starring Jean Claude Van Damme. Street Fighter is a rare example of a financially successful cult classic; a film so rejected by fans and critics that over 30 years later it has manged to gather a cult following. In this episode, I look at the many changes that the movie makes despite being clearly inspired by Street Fighter II, but also highlight how this film manged to make all the right decisions to become beloved later in life.     Resident Evil: Damnation

    "I need to hurry up and get this done, I need some breakfast." Welcome to my dojo, this is Kung Fu Pizza Party, and today we are headed back to the Arcade with my review of Resident Evil: Damnation. Damnation has the unique status of bing a film rated 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, and being called by IGN the best Resident Evil film to date circa 2012. So for once I actually get to ask the question, is Resident Evil: Damnation really that GOOD?     Big George Foreman (Round 2)

    "This time, finish what you started." Welcome to my dojo, this is Kung Fu Piizza Party. Today, I am sitting down to re-review this year's Blessed Takayama Memorial Cup Winner, Big George Foreman starring Khris Davis. This time around, I look at the Critics Score on Rotten Tomatoes and discuss how it is important to have these kinds of movies, sports biopics that bring you hope. If a person like George Foreman can make a comeback in his late age, surely I can get through another day of being a stay-at-home parent.     Surviving Edged Weapons

    "The knife culture is still active today." Welcome to my dojo, this is Kung Fu Pizza Party. Today, I sit down to look at a training film that has gotten famous over the years on certain circles of the internet. This is my review of 1988s Suriving Edged Weapons from Calibre Press; a film designed to train local law enforcement officers on why it is important to take edged weapons seriously. As a training film it already has a level of camp to it, but by 2026 standards and what we now know about violent crimes in America, the film goes from dated to harmful very quickly.     Tekken

Today, we are headed back once more to the Arcade as I dive into the world of Tekken. the 2009 film Tekken is considered to be one of the worst martial art films ever made with a flat 0% on Rotten Tomatoes. Throughout this series, however, I have continually reviewed poorly received films. Is Tekken really that bad, or have I been preparing for the final boss in the King of Dookie Fist Tournament?     DOA: Dead or Alive

    "I am not a cricket in a box" Welcome to my dojo, this is Kung Fu Pizza Party. Today, we are headed back to the Arcade this time with a review of the 2006 film DOA: Dead or Alive. After diving into the game's history, success, and interest in volleyball, I review what honestly should have been a way more successful film. How did a film directed by the great Corey Yuen only gross $7 million off of a $30 million budget? Is the film really as bad as critics say it is? DOA is Charlie's Angels meets a Go Daddy commercial and I'm here for every sexy sexy bit of it.
