Pacific Northwest Surf Forecast Tuesday April 28 Five to Eight Foot Waves Long Beach Seaside Cannon Beach Manzanita

Good morning, this is your Pacific Northwest surf forecast for Tuesday, April 28th through Wednesday, April 29th. Let's start up north in Long Beach, Washington, where we're looking at five to eight foot waves today with a northwest swell running six feet at nine second intervals. Expect mostly cloudy skies with just a chance of drizzle and highs around fifty-five degrees. Winds will be light, coming from the northwest at six miles per hour. The tide is dropping to just under a foot this morning around five forty-nine, then climbing to seven and a half feet by late morning. Tomorrow things really start to pick up in Long Beach with waves climbing to seven to ten feet. The swell will maintain that six foot height but the period stretches to fourteen seconds, giving you cleaner, more organized waves. Partly cloudy skies and temperatures climbing into the upper fifties and low sixties. Winds will be minimal in the morning but increase to nine miles per hour from the northeast by afternoon. Down at Seaside and Cannon Beach, Oregon, we're seeing similar conditions today with five to eight foot surf and a six foot northwest swell at ten second periods. It'll be mostly cloudy with just a slight chance of drizzle. Highs stay in the fifty to fifty-five range with light northwest winds developing throughout the day. The good news is Wednesday is where Seaside really shines. Waves jump to seven to ten feet with that same six foot swell now stretched to fourteen seconds. Partly cloudy skies and a warming trend into the mid-fifties. Winds stay nearly calm until afternoon when they pick up to nine miles per hour from the northeast. Moving south to Manzanita, Rockaway Beach and Pacific City, today brings five to eight foot waves with a slightly smaller five foot swell at twelve second intervals. Mostly cloudy with a chance of drizzle and highs around fifty-five. Northwest winds start light at three miles per hour and build to eight. Tomorrow is looking excellent here with seven to ten foot waves and the swell bumping up to six feet at fourteen seconds. This zone gets mostly sunny skies, the warmest daytime high in the fifty-five to sixty range, and the same northeast wind pattern as the northern zones. Finally, down at Lincoln City, expect five to eight foot waves today under partly cloudy skies with a six foot swell at ten second periods. Highs around fifty-five with northwest winds starting at four miles per hour and strengthening to nine by afternoon. Wednesday brings that stellar seven to ten foot swell with a six foot period of fourteen seconds. Mostly sunny skies take over with temperatures in the fifty-five to sixty degree range and northeast winds increasing to ten miles per hour. Before you head out, remember that cold water, sneaker waves, and rip currents are daily hazards along this entire coast. Sneaker waves can surge up the beach much further than expected, catching the unwary by surprise. And rip currents are those powerful, narrow channels of fast-moving water flowing away from shore. Stay alert, keep your eyes on the waves, and respect the ocean. Have a great session out there. Pacific Northwest Surf Forecast April 27-28 2026: 5-9 Foot Waves Lincoln City Seaside Long Beach

Good morning surfers, this is your Pacific Northwest surf forecast for Monday, April twenty-seventh through Tuesday, April twenty-eighth, twenty twenty-six. Let's start down in Lincoln City where conditions are shaping up nicely for a solid Monday session. You're looking at five to seven foot waves with that consistent northwest swell running six feet at nine second intervals. The weather stays mostly cloudy with just a chance of rain, and temperatures will hover around fifty-five degrees. Winds are light out of the southwest at three miles per hour, so you'll have some glassy conditions to work with. The tide starts low at one point seven feet at four seventeen in the morning, peaks at six point five feet around ten thirteen in the morning, then drops back down to point nine feet by four seventeen in the afternoon before rising again to seven point seven feet after sunset. Moving north to the Manzanita, Rockaway Beach and Pacific City area, conditions are virtually identical today with that same five to seven foot surf and northwest swell. You'll get the slightly lighter winds there too, just four miles per hour from the southwest. Tuesday is looking even better in this zone though, as the waves bump up to five to eight feet while maintaining that same swell direction and size. Up at Seaside and Cannon Beach, Oregon, expect five to seven foot waves today with comparable conditions to the rest of the coast. The swell remains consistent at six feet with nine second periods. Winds are incredibly light at just three miles per hour from the southwest, so you're getting excellent glassy conditions. Tuesday stays pretty much the same with those five to seven foot waves continuing. Finally, let's check Long Beach, Washington where they're seeing the biggest surf of the forecast period. Today you're looking at six to nine foot waves with that northwest swell at seven feet, making it the most robust conditions along the entire coast. Southwest winds at six miles per hour will keep things relatively clean. Tuesday the swell decreases slightly to five to seven feet as you move into a lighter northwest swell at six feet. Across the entire forecast region, there's no thunderstorm potential and temperatures will be consistent in the mid-fifties. Tuesday sees a slight improvement in conditions with winds turning more northwesterly across most zones, which should help clean up the surf even more. Remember, cold water, sneaker waves and rip currents remain a serious daily threat along the Oregon and Washington coasts. Stay vigilant, watch those waves carefully, and always keep an eye on the currents. Enjoy your time on the water and stay safe out there. Oregon Washington Coast Surf Forecast Thursday Eight to Twelve Foot Waves Northwest Swell

Good morning, this is your Thursday surf zone forecast for the Oregon and Washington coast, issued at six oh two AM Pacific Daylight Time. Let's start with today's conditions. A solid northwest swell is moving in, delivering eight to twelve foot faces across Long Beach Washington and the northern Oregon beaches. If you're heading to Seaside or Cannon Beach, you'll find similar eight to twelve foot conditions with that same northwest swell running nine feet at twelve second intervals. Down the coast at Manzanita, Rockaway Beach, and Pacific City, expect eight to eleven foot surf, while Lincoln City is looking at eight to eleven feet as well. The offshore swell is consistent across the region, so whether you're up north or down south, you've got some quality waves to work with today. Weather-wise, partly cloudy skies will dominate the coastline with highs ranging from fifty to fifty five degrees. Winds are light, coming from the southwest at four to eight miles per hour depending on your location. There's no thunderstorm potential expected, so you won't have to worry about lightning strikes or sudden weather changes today. Now for the tides. High tide this morning hits around six o'clock, with dramatic low tides hitting just after noon. Lincoln City is looking at a minus point four foot low tide at twelve sixteen PM, which is pretty extreme. Another high tide comes in around seven to eight PM this evening before the tide drops again. Sunrise happens early at six fifteen to six eighteen AM, and sunset doesn't arrive until after eight PM, so you've got plenty of daylight to work with today. Looking ahead to Friday, the swell will dial back a bit. We're expecting five to eight foot surf across the region as that northwest swell weakens to six feet at ten to eleven second intervals. The good news is Friday's looking even nicer weather-wise. Mostly sunny skies will greet you, temperatures climb to around sixty degrees, and it'll be even warmer down at Manzanita and Pacific City where highs reach sixty to sixty five. Winds shift to the northeast at five to ten miles per hour. As always, remember that cold water, sneaker waves, and rip currents are constant hazards on this coast. Even if you're just watching from shore, stay vigilant and keep your eye on the waves. A sneaker wave can run up significantly further than you'd expect, and rip currents are narrow, powerful channels of water flowing outward from the beach. Respect the ocean, and you'll have an amazing time out there. Pacific Northwest Surf Forecast Thursday Friday April 23 24 Solid 8 to 12 Foot Waves

Good morning! This is your Pacific Northwest surf zone forecast for Thursday, April 23rd through Friday the 24th. Starting with today's conditions across the region, we're looking at solid surf in the 8 to 12 foot range with a northwest swell pushing 9 feet at 12 second intervals. If you're planning to hit the water, you're in for some fun, but definitely keep your eyes open. The weather will be partly cloudy with temperatures hovering around 50 to 55 degrees, so a wetsuit is absolutely your friend today. Winds will be light, coming from the southwest at 4 to 8 miles per hour depending on your location. Tides are worth checking before you head out. We're seeing high tides in the morning, ranging from about 8 to 8.4 feet between 5 and 6 AM, followed by a low tide dropping near zero or slightly below around midday. Another high tide will come in around 7 to 8 PM, so plan your session accordingly. Sunrise is around 6:15 to 6:18 AM, and you'll have plenty of daylight with sunset not arriving until after 8 PM. Moving into Friday, conditions will mellow out a bit but still offer some fun. Expect surf heights to drop to a more manageable 5 to 8 feet with the swell easing to 6 feet at 10 to 11 second periods. The weather looks mostly sunny, which is a nice bonus, and temperatures will climb slightly to around 60 to 65 degrees depending on where you are. Winds will shift to the northeast, starting light at 5 miles per hour but gradually building to around 9 to 10 miles per hour through the afternoon. Now, before you grab your board and head for the door, I need to remind you that the Oregon and Washington coasts demand respect. Cold water is a real hazard out there, so dress appropriately. Sneaker waves are always a threat, even if you're just walking along the shoreline. These waves can run up on shore with surprising force and distance, catching unsuspecting visitors completely off guard. Rip currents are also present in the surf zone, and they're powerful, narrow channels of fast-moving water flowing outward from shore. If you find yourself caught in one, don't panic and don't fight it directly. Swim parallel to the shore until you're out of the current. Whether you're a seasoned surfer or just enjoying a walk on the beach, stay vigilant and keep your attention on the waves and water conditions. The forecast wave heights we're providing are experimental, so use them as a guide but always trust what you see in front of you. Have a great day on the coast, and stay safe out there!
