This psychologist says empathy is not the answer (TED Radio Hour+)
We need to be more empathetic — that's something we hear a lot these days. We're told that empathy is the first step towards solving many of society's problems. Yale psychologist Paul Bloom disagrees. He has given three TED talks and was featured on our episode, Shock Value (https://n.pr/43gUbDE). He's also the author of several books, including Against Empathy: The Case for Radical Compassion. Never ending source of information
Amazing. This podcast immediately captures your attention on an abundance of topics.
It broadens your perspective in so many aspects (and definitely does not keep you in a bubble… 😉)
Music?
This is an interesting podcast but the constant background music I find very distracting!!!
